NexGen effectively leverage partners to maximize the ISV’s market reach. This approach focuses on developing relevant quality partners, rather than many under-performing ones.

Partner profiling

NexGen reduce the cost of sale and improve the long term viability of Partners by carefully profiling each partner before they are activated. Only quality Partners who have the right business model for SaaS and can demonstrate potential for volume sales are considered.

To maintain activation, NexGen offer partners technical, sales and marketing expertise to drive sales each quarter.

Partners are profiled according to industry, geography, propensity to implement SaaS products, sales maturity and market position. Geographies include Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. In the latter part of 2007, NexGen will extend coverage to include India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Prospect partners

Prospect partners include Telcos, Internet Service providers, (ISPs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), consultants, S.I.’s and SaaS aware software resellers. Unlike the traditional software channel, these SaaS partners are familiar with the financial implications of subscription-based billing. SaaS is an opportunity to introduce new revenue streams, lower customer churn and increase profitability.
